HYST is a global public service that allows organisations and individuals to embed a group of selected polls that matter onto public display screens.
Each screen rotates live TruDat poll results alongside a QR code, so anyone passing by can scan and have their say. Voting, registration and verification all happen securely on TruDat.
HYST works wherever people gather and you want honest, immediate feedback on a wall, foyer screen, kiosk, or website embed — for example:
- Universities and colleges — public polling on campus (student life, facilities, events, or community issues).
- Organisations and workplaces — pulse checks on organisational health, psychological safety, and how teams are really doing.
- Culture and change — culture feedback, listening exercises, and public change requests so staff or members can shape direction.
- Communities and venues — town halls, faith groups, sports clubs, libraries, and public spaces asking “what should we do next?”
- Events and campaigns — conferences, exhibitions, retail, and hospitality screens that invite live opinion during the moment.
- Civic and local issues — neighbourhood priorities, service feedback, or transparent consultation before decisions are made.
Anyone can browse featured screens on the homepage and copy a screen URL or embed code for free — paste the URL into a kiosk browser, or the embed code into your website, to show that screen as-is.
To curate your own screens and choose which TruDat polls appear on your displays, you need an active subscription. Subscribers can build up to three live screens with their own poll selections, aspect ratio, and brand colours.
